HSE Staff have leadership role in the communication and implementation of, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies and standards. We are committed to

• Follow defined procedures with self-discipline and work safely at all times.
• Carry out health & safety surveillance, when required.
• Ensure that all machinery, plant and equipment are maintained & in safe condition.
• Make adequate provision and arrangements for welfare facilities at work.
• Keep the workplace safe and ensure that access and egress are safe and without risk.
• Monitor performance of Safety protection & health requirements to maintain company standards.
• Provide employees with such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to secure their safety and health at work.
• Establish arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances provided for use at work, which are safe and without risk to Health.
• Comply as a minimum with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations. The interest of other interested parties including local communities will also be considered in relation to company operations. This policy will be made available to all such interested parties and to the public.
• Identify and control the environmental impacts arising from its business.
• Develop and maintain effective contingency plans, where appropriate, in conjunction with the authorities and emergency services.
• Provide direction and training to all employees to ensure awareness of all environmental issues relevant to their roles and responsibilities in implementing this policy. This is a current key environmental objective for TR.
• Require contractors to demonstrate an acceptable level of environmental performance.
• Provide appropriate resources to implement the policy.
• Ensure compliance with this policy through a continual process of education, review and audit. This policy statement is an expression of TR commitment to operational excellence and its belief that protection of the environment shall be considered as a fundamental management responsibility.
